If you want to read on the open mic, please book when you arrive. Please note that it’s first-come-first-served and we generally offer 10 open mic slots (though we try to squeeze more in if there’s demand and time). Guide time for open mic slots is up to 4 minutes – that’s usually a couple of poems or a short story, depending on length. We welcome poetry, short prose, and everything in between – it will be wonderful to hear from you! As always, listeners are also very welcome! #poetrylovers
Charlotte Eichler is a poet based in West Yorkshire. Her pamphlet, Their Lunar Language, was published by Valley Press in 2018 and a selection of her work was featured in Carcanet’s New Poetries VIII anthology in 2021. Her poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies, including PN Review, The Manchester Review, The Scotsman and Stand.
