I’m delighted to share this wonderful group photo of all the poets who read at the Rights of Nature gala What a wonderful night! Taken together with Poet in Residence Karen McCarthy Woolf at the end of the event on Saturday 21st March in The Storey Auditorium, Lancaster. It was fantastic to see so many poets there in person, and a real pleasure to share the stage with everyone.

A big thank you also to the poets who sent in video recordings; your work added greatly to the evening.
Huge thanks to Karen McCarthy Woolf for curating and hosting such a powerful and moving gala, and to Litfest for creating a space where poetry can speak so directly to the theme of the Rights of Nature. It was an honour to perform my poem “In My Lifetime” alongside such talented writers.

These events remind us of the strength and importance of the poetry community, coming together to celebrate language, nature, and the urgent need to protect our world. More photos and reflections from the evening may follow soon. In the meantime, if you missed it, keep an eye on the Litfest programme and the Rights of Nature Poetry Map.
