As the crisp Cumbrian autumn sets in, I’m excited to share details of an upcoming event I’ll be attending: the Storth CE Primary School PTA Table Top Sale. Located in the picturesque village of Storth near Morecambe Bay, this Church of England primary school embodies its motto, “Everything is Possible” (Matthew 19:26), and I’m thrilled to be part of a community effort to support its young minds.
The sale is on Wednesday, November 12th, from 3:30 PM to 5:15 PM, and I’ll be there with my books and activity pack, ready to meet fellow book lovers and locals alike. It’s the kind of place where small communities come together to support education, creativity, and a bit of friendly haggling over hidden gems.

What to Expect at the Sale
- Standard Tables: £5 each – perfect for families or individuals selling pre-loved items.
- Business Tables: £10 each – an ideal spot for local crafters, bakers, or small enterprises to showcase their wares. I’ll be showcasing my books, alongside other local creators.
- Refreshments on Sale: Enjoy hot drinks and homemade treats, and maybe even a slice of cake to fuel your treasure hunt.
