I’m delighted to share that I’ll be appearing in two special performances as part of the Heron Theatre’s 25th Anniversary Weekend in Beetham, Cumbria. The Flight of the Heron is a wonderful celebration of the theatre’s rich history; part storytelling, part drama, with excerpts from past productions by theCOMPANY (the associate theatre group that supported the Heron so brilliantly for over a decade).

Performance Dates & Times
- Saturday 27th June 2026 – Evening Performance: 7:30pm
(A Celebration of the Heron Theatre in words and music, featuring theCOMPANY in Act One, followed by Michael Lunts in Act Two) - Sunday 28th June 2026 – Matinee Performance: 3:00pm
(Part of the Anniversary Music and Drama Day – this afternoon show by theCOMPANY is free but tickets must be booked in advance)
This is a lovely, intimate event that brings together live theatre, music, nostalgia, and community spirit in the beautiful Heron Theatre. Whether you’ve been a regular visitor over the years or you’re new to the venue, it promises to be a heart-warming and entertaining evening (and afternoon!).

The Heron Theatre is a real gem; a small, welcoming venue with a big heart. I’m proud to be part of theCOMPANY and to help celebrate everything this special place has achieved. Come along, bring friends or family, and enjoy a fantastic night (or afternoon) of live performance in the heart of South Cumbria. I’d love to see you there!
Warm wishes,
