I’m delighted to remind you that I’ll be at The Kendal Book Festival 2026 this Saturday, 12th September, at Kendal Parish Hall from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Organised by the Cumbria Writers Collective (members of the Society of Authors), this is a warm, welcoming day celebrating local writing.
There will be local authors to meet, workshops for writers, and a very special guest poet: Professor Linda Anderson OBE FRSL.
I’ll be there with copies of my books; including A Very Alternative Coast to Coast, The Owl and The Mole, my poetry pamphlet Imprints, The Heavy-Footed Spider and Other Stories, and others. Whether you’re looking for a walker’s tale, something for the grandchildren, or a bit of poetry to take home, I’d love you to drop by, say hello, and perhaps take a signed copy for yourself or as a gift.
