Verbalise – Saturday 10 October 2026
I’m delighted to share a recording of my recent featured poet performance at Verbalise, Brewery Arts in Kendal, on Saturday 10 October 2026.
It was a pleasure to return to Brewery Arts and take part in an evening dedicated to poetry, storytelling and the spoken word.
Verbalise brings together writers and performers from different backgrounds, offering a welcoming space for established voices and those just beginning to share their work.
As the evening’s featured poet, I had the opportunity to share some of my poetry and the stories and experiences that have inspired my writing.
For me, one of the great pleasures of performing poetry is seeing words move beyond the printed page. A poem can take on a different life when spoken aloud, and sharing that experience with an audience is always rewarding.
I’m pleased that I can now share my performance with those who couldn’t attend — and with anyone who would simply like to hear some of my work.
