Peter Kay was born in Heywood, 1950, lived for 37 years in Lancashire, 35 years in West Yorkshire and now lives in Burton-in-Kendal, in Cumbria.

He is the author of “A Pennine Way Odyssey” (self-published 2012), “Show Me The Way to Santiago” (Curious Cat Books 2020) and “A Very Alternative Coast to Coast” (Curious Cat Books 2022). He has written and published a Children’s Book,
“The Owl And The Mole”, illustrated by one of his daughters. He has written and performed poetry, sixteen poems have been published, in anthologies or on-line; six poems can be found in: “TUESDAY AFTERNOONS: AN ANTHOLOGY OF THIRTY POEMS BY FIVE POETS”.
He is currently writing a murder mystery, set in 1930’s Yorkshire, alongside his own Poetry Pamphlet, which will be published in March 2025 by Yaffle Press. He is also ghost writing the Autobiography of a Congolese refugee RAP star.
