July: A Busy Start

  • 8th July: Ilkley Library for Bradford Writes ’25
    I’m honoured to be part of the Bradford City of Culture Festival (June 27 – July 6), which this year explores diverse literary traditions. Ilkley Library will host an event aligning with this vibrant theme, expect a rich celebration of words and ideas!
  • 14th July: Beckside Café, Silsden
    Nestled in the cosy setting of Beckside Café, a beloved hub for local artists, I’ll be sharing my work. This intimate gathering promises a warm atmosphere for poetry lovers.
  • 15th July: Headlining at Runcible Spoon
    Joining the growing trend of intimate literary events, I’ll be headlining at the Runcible Spoon, Morley. Details are still coming together, but it’s shaping up to be a special evening.
  • 19th July: Supporting Nabeela Ahmed at Braford Library
    Joining the growing trend of intimate literary events, I’ll be supporting fellow poet and good friend Nabeela on this occasion.

August: Focus on Young Readers

  • 13th, 14th & 15th August: PYA Libraries TBC Activities & Stories for Children
    In partnership with North Yorkshire Libraries and PYA, we’re planning activities and storytelling sessions for children. This initiative ties into local education efforts to boost literacy, with specifics to be announced soon.

September: Arts and Literature Collide

  • 8th September: Headlining at Soundbites, Headingley
    This event coincides with Headingley’s annual arts festival, offering a fantastic platform to share my readings with a broader audience.
  • 27th September: Bookfair in Richmond PYA EVENT
    A delightful opportunity to meet fellow book enthusiasts in the historic setting of Richmond.

October: A Literary Tradition

  • 18th October: Kendal Bookfair
    Part of a storied tradition dating back to the 1980s, the Kendal Bookfair draws authors and readers alike. I’m excited to be part of this literary milestone.

    With the holiday season in full swing, the Burton Christmas Fair’s high foot traffic will be the perfect stage to showcase my work alongside local authors and crafters.
