Coniston is my favourite place in all The Lakes, but for a painful achilles, I would have been running my fifteenth Coniston 14 earlier this month. Tomorrow we are off for a short break to a cottage overlooking the lake. I have built into the itinery a day of writing. Here is a poem I wrote recently
Comments closedThis 20 page Guide covers the route taken by John and I in 2017, along the Via Augusta from Cadiz on the south western Atlantic coast of Spain to Seville. It took us six days and was a follow on from walking the Via de La Plata, a year earlier. The guide has both a written explanation of the route and a diagram of each day’s walk.
